Abstract: Evaluates the presence of sleep-disordered breathing (SDB), sleep quality and sleep disorders in patients with myasthenia gravis (MG) and aims to clarify the role of physical therapy. Based on 17 observational, cross-sectional, and “clinical” studies finds that some studies show poor sleep quality, excessive daytime sleepiness, presence of restless syndrome, and a higher incidence of SDB in MG, but other investigations do no. Concludes that further study of sleep disturbances in patients with MG is needed.
