Finding and Using International Research Resources

About the Webcast

REHABDATA Goes Global: Integrating International Research into the REHABDATA Database. For more than 35 years, NARIC has maintained REHABDATA Database, indexing research publications in disability and rehabilitation. REHABDATA focused primarily but not exclusively on research conducted in the United States. From 1999 to 2015, the Center for International Rehabilitation Research Information and Exchange (CIRRIE) built a collection of international research abstracts, including more than 115,000 citations of research in disability and rehabilitation. As CIRRIE reached the end of its tenure, NARIC became custodians of this important research collection. We worked with CIRRIE staff to bring the collection under the NARIC domain and integrate it into the existing REHABDATA index database. This webinar will guide users through the expanded REHABDATA database, highlighting new features. We’ll cover how the collection will grow moving forward and demonstrate how to stay up to date on new additions.
