This figure shows Connor's conceptual model of knowledge utilization evaluation. There are 4 components of an evaluation process, illustrated in the diagram in the form of boxes connected horizontally by unidirectional arrows from left to right in the following order: goals, inputs, processes, and outcomes. Under each component listed aspects of the utilization process related to that component as follows:

Goals component: no aspects are listed.
Inputs component: Quality of results and Importance of results.
Processes component: Pattern, Rationale, and State of utilizers
Outcomes: Type, Level, and Timing
