Mary Slavin, Dr. Slavin is a research assistant professor in the Health Law, Policy and Management Department at the Boston University School of Public Health. She has served as the Director of Dissemination for several national research centers and has organized and delivered 20+ national conferences to support dissemination activities. Dr. Slavin has been involved in the development of several rehabilitation outcome measures and has engaged in knowledge translation efforts to promote implementation of these new outcome measures in clinical settings. She has also worked to advance evidence-based practice in rehabilitation and is co-author of the evidence-based practice chapter in DeLisa’s Physical Medicine textbook.
