Description: Movement Disorders is the official journal of The Movement Disorder Society. The Society is dedicated to disseminating information on recent advances in both clinical and basic sciences related to movement disorders, and to the education of physicians and the public.
Articles accepted: Movement Disorders publishes reviews, vewpoints, full length articles, historical reports, brief reports, clinical/scientific notes, videotape briefs, patient/imaging briefs, and letters. Original manuscripts, i.e., those that have not been published elsewhere except in abstract form, on the diagnosis, therapeutics, pharmacology, biochemistry, physiology, etiology, genetics, and epidemiology of movement disorders, will be considered for publication. Appropriate subjects include the etiology, diagnosis, management, and basic science of parkinsonism, chorea, tremors, dystonia, myoclonus, tics, tardive dyskinesia, spasticity, and ataxia.
