Abstract: |
Though it has been demonstrated that the use of evidence-based treatments improves outcomes for clients, the process of translating research into practice is challenging and complex. The purpose of the present study was to examine how evidence-based practices are implemented in rehabilitation contexts in Denmark. Focus group discussions were conducted at several hospitals, and therapists were asked to reflect on their experiences, attitudes and reasoning in the implementation of evidence-based treatments. Qualitative analysis of the discussions yielded several themes relevant to how evidence-based treatments can be implemented across contexts. |
