Abstract: |
Harris et al. (2017) seek to develop, test, and launch a new learning intervention with the purpose of improving relationships between employment service professionals (these include workforce development, disability services, and staffing organizations) and employers who are looking to hire individuals with disabilities. The goal of this intervention is to elucidate the effect of using a systematic approach to knowledge translation on the key stakeholders within disability workforce development. Results indicate that in order to produce positive outcomes, project leaders must be willing to challenge their own assumptions, move swiftly between inquiry and development, and openly engage with stakeholders. |
