Abstract: |
This systematic literature review uses evidence mapping methodology to generate a schema of Knowledge Translation (KT) strategies, outcomes, barriers and facilitators Edwards, Zweigenthal and Oliver (2019) utilized four databases resulting in 62 studies being included in the final mapping process. They found that within Africa, there were significant disparities in how different countries report on KT. From this, Edwards Zweigenthal and Oliver conclude that local research groups need to boost their capacities on KT practices to improve KT in policy and in practice.
