Abstract:

This study focuses on strategies researchers can use to improve the engagement of stakeholders. Through two participatory dialogue events that used integrated strategies to engage a wide range of stakeholders, Khayatzadeh-Mahani et al. (2020) showed that the level of engagement for each stakeholder group depends on the goal and need of the project. From this, Khayatzadeh-Mahani et al. (2020) determined that more focused outreach is needed to foster trust and relationships to exhibit more meaningful engagement for stakeholders.
