Webcast Series: Equity and Methods in Campbell Collaboration Systematic Reviews
The Center on KTDRR is pleased to present this webcast series on equity considerations and methodological standards of the Campbell Collaboration. The Campbell Collaboration is an international research network that promotes positive social and economic change through the production and use of systematic reviews and other evidence synthesis for evidence-based policy and practice.
In this three-part webcast series participants will learn how to incorporate people with disabilities into systematic review planning as well as Campbell’s standards, methods, and guidelines for conducting systematic reviews

About the Presenters
Vivian Welch, PhD, is a Clinical Epidemiology Methodologist at the Bruyère Research Institute, lead of the BRI Method Centre, Assistant Professor at University of Ottawa, and Deputy Director of the Centre for Global Health, University of Ottawa. Her research interests involve systematic reviews, health equity, global health, knowledge translation and clinical guidelines. Dr. Welch is the Editor-in-Chief of the Campbell Collaboration, a co-convenor of the Campbell and Cochrane Equity Methods Group, Cochrane Agenda Setting and Priority Setting group.
Julia H. Littell, PhD, is a Professor at the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, where she teaches courses on human behavior, child welfare policy and practice, research methodology, and research synthesis. She has conducted field experiments, secondary analysis of data, qualitative research, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses on effects of complex behavioral and psychosocial interventions for children, youth, and families. She serves on several editorial boards and is the former Co-chair and former Editor-in-Chief of the international Campbell Collaboration. Dr. Littell is co-author of Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis and more than 50 journal articles and book chapters.
Terri Pigott, PhD, is the Associate Provost for Research and Professor of Research Methodology at Loyola University Chicago. She was formerly the Dean of the School of Education. Prior to Loyola, she was Associate Program Officer at the Spencer Foundation in Chicago. Dr. Pigott is the former co-Chair and current co-Editor of the Methods Group of the Campbell Collaboration. She has numerous publications on methods of meta-analysis, including work on handling missing data and computing power in meta-analysis. She is also interested in outcome reporting bias in education research, and its implications for systematic review. She serves on a number of editorial boards including Psychological Bulletin, Psychological Methods, and Research Synthesis Methods. She is chair of the AERA SIG on Systematic Review and Meta-analysis, and a long-time member of the Society for Research Synthesis Methodology (SRSM).
