Kate Perepezko

Kate Perepezko  is postdoctoral associate at the National Rehabilitation Research & Training Center on Family Support at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining the center, she completed her academic training in public health with an emphasis on mental health and social and behavioral interventions. Her research focuses on developing, adapting, and implementing interventions to improve the quality of life and functioning of aging adults and their care partners. Dr. Perepezko is particularly interested in interventions that incorporate goal setting and dyadic interventions involving aging adults and their care partners. She is currently contributing to the study Examining the Community Aging in Place, Advancing Better Living for Elders (CAPABLE) Intervention: A Scale-Up Project with Family Caregivers and the Area Agency on Aging.
