Linda Ehrlich Jones

Linda Ehrlich-Jones, PhD, RN, FACRM, FAAN, received her undergraduate degree in biology from Knox College and her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Rush University. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from Loyola University Chicago and gained experience in rheumatology at Michael Reese Hospital on Chicago’s South Side. She earned her PhD in nursing science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. After teaching undergraduate nursing at Northern Illinois University, Dr. Ehrlich-Jones took a position in the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago’s education department. She served as a clinical research coordinator at RIC and subsequently as assistant director, then as associate director of CROR at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly RIC), where she oversees the Rehabilitation Measures Database, a compendium of summaries of instruments used by rehabilitation professionals. Dr. Ehrlich-Jones is an expert on motivational interviewing (MI), and her research at Northwestern University focuses on whether MI can improve outcomes for people with Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injury, and lupus. Dr. Ehrlich-Jones is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine.
