Krys Standley

Krys Standley is a research associate at the Rural Institute for Inclusive Communities and is currently pursuing a PhD in experimental psychology at the University of Montana. Her research interests focus on the intersections of health promotion, disability, and positive psychological factors. Krys is passionate about the value of participatory and mixed-methods research and knowledge translation, and about conducting research that supports the autonomy, dignity, health, and community participation of people with disabilities. Krys maintains national certifications as both a health education specialist and a health and wellness coach, and integrates perspectives from these disciplines into their work.
