Alexandria Suhalka, MPH, is a clinical research coordinator at Baylor Scott & White Research Institute (BSWRI). She obtained a Master of Public Health with a concentration in public health practice from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She is pursuing a doctoral degree in Health Promotion and Behavioral Science at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Her research training and work focus on topics related to health, disability, and patient outcomes among people with brain injuries and spinal cord injuries. At BSWRI, she currently serves as a lead project coordinator for several projects funded by grants from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research. This includes a study that is culturally adapting a healthy lifestyle program for Hispanic/Latino people after stroke and another study examining the effects of delivering a healthy lifestyle program for people with traumatic brain injury using telehealth methods.
