Lillie Greiman is a project director at the Rural Institute for Inclusive Communities at the University of Montana. She joined the Rural Institute in 2012 as a graduate research assistant while completing her master’s degree in geography at UM. Over the years, Ms. Greiman has had the opportunity to work with amazing colleagues and partners, both at the Institute and at the Centers for Independent Living, as well as other disability-led organizations across the country. Ms. Greiman grew up in Montana and is passionate about supporting inclusive rural communities and promoting disability justice through her research.
