Kelsey Goddard, PhD, BCBA, LBA, is an assistant research professor at the Research and Training Center on Independent Living (RTC/IL) and Institute for Health and Disability Policy Studies (IHDPS) at the University of Kansas. Dr. Goddard identifies as a person with a disability and strives to bring awareness to disability concerns through the intersection of research, policy, and advocacy. She is a strong advocate of the guiding principle “Nothing about us without us” and is particularly passionate about best-practice approaches to support and empower people with disabilities as researchers, advocates, and leaders.
