Asil El Galad is a medical student at McMaster University in St. Catherines, Canada. She holds a BMSc in medical sciences from Western University and is a passionate advocate for amplifying marginalized voices and improving their care in health services. Her research work includes improving involvement of youth with disabilities in their own care, flexibility in higher education, and medical education. Through her research, she strives to understand the experiences and needs of various stakeholders to inform and enhance existing policies using quantitative and qualitative research methods.
