Brooke Allemang is a registered social worker and postdoctoral fellow in Child Health Evaluative Sciences at SickKids Research Institute in Toronto, Canada. She holds a PhD in social work from the University of Calgary and is a passionate advocate for amplifying youth voices in health service delivery. Her program of research centres on improving healthcare transitions for youth with chronic health conditions. Dr. Allemang’s work aims to understand the experiences, priorities, and needs of youth to inform and refine clinical interventions using qualitative and patient-oriented research methodologies.
